South Herts Cyclists
Join us for sociable cycle rides on quiet lanes in South Hertfordshire.
We are a part of Cycling UK (the CTC) - the cyclists' champion. Since 1878 we have championed a simple belief – that cycling is a wonderful activity that should remain accessible and available to all.
Rides usually start in St Albans, Hatfield or Hertford. All starting points are near train stations and parking facilities and we have a mix of Hertfordshire residents and people from north London. Please contact our secretary for more information.
This year’s Annual General Meeting of South Herts CTC will take place at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 30th October at the Quaker Meeting House, Upper Lattimore Road, St Albans AL1 3UD (same place as last year). Afterwards we intend to move on to the nearby Robin Hood for a social evening.
We warmly encourage everyone to join us for a lively discussion on what we do next year (although only Cycling UK members may vote - please bring your membership card).
Cycling UK members are invited to stand in this year’s election to the committee and to submit motions to the AGM. The deadline for both is noon on Tuesday 23rd October. Full details on how to stand and submit motions can be found on the AGM page , which is also where the full agenda will be posted in October.
You can try a few rides before joining. See our Frequently asked questions page for guidance on riding with us.
These 35 mm square mudguard/frame stickers have been specially produced for South Herts CTC and are available from ride leaders. They are free to members and will help to promote the club, so do take some to adorn your bikes.
